Liza Sgro
Founder & Wellness Programs Director

Liza migrated from New York to San Diego in 1996 to follow a call to be in service of health and wellness. Since childhood she’s been fascinated with nature, healing and what the mind can do when it’s focused.

Liza is a Holistic Health Practitioner with a focus in massage therapy and a Reiki practitioner with training in the Usui tradition. She trained at UCSD and served as a birth doula there for 5 years.

Liza has assisted people from all walks of life in building healthy lifestyles and has guided women through conscious births. Many of the women she assisted spoke languages she didn’t. Most of them she hadn’t met before they went into labor. She got to practice her patience here..and also be shown the gifts of service.

For 13 years Liza owned and managed a boutique hotel spa servicing company based in the Westgate Hotel while simultaneously operating her spa Dancing Heart in Hillcrest. Bringing out the healing elements in a situation is natural to Liza. She believes there are unlimited paths to healing and that even the simplest of practices matter. The intention behind the action is what yields results.

As a dedicated practitioner of meditation and mindfulness, yoga, physical fitness, Reiki, massage, breath work and communing with nature; Liza understands the sublime partnership between whole being self care and living a life you’re happy to wake up to.


Becca Wagner

Becca is on a committed path to showing the world that you can live a life that you love beginning right now.

She teaches yoga & meditation with an emphasis on emotional understanding and integration.

Becca combines her background in emotional processing & release with yoga and meditation to provide tools to living your best life and being true to yourself.

She believes that we are never prisoners of our past and that we always have the power to create the future we dream of.

Becca’s favorite yoga classes always include feel-good hamstring stretches and gentle hip openers.

She loves introducing meditation to students in way that is easy to digest and even easier to implement.

When she is not teaching or creating, you will find her behind the lens of a camera capturing moments, animals & people.
